Aspen Surgical Products, Inc. (Aspen) announced today that it has launched a new design for their Corner Protectors. Corner Protectors were originally launched in 2009 by Aspen. They are used to protect against the sharp corners of surgical instrument trays tearing or ripping through sterilization wrap.

The new Aspen Corner Protector has a modified design to allow for greater airflow between the instrument wrap and Corner Protector to avoid condensation and provide more protection against wet packs. "The Corner Protector has been a great product for us because of its ability to fill a great need in the market that wasn't effectively being met prior to 2009," said Bob Lawrence, Director of New Product Development for Aspen. However, at Aspen we never stop evaluating our products for potential improvements to give our customers even better results, and the Corner Protector is no exception."
