Aspen Surgical Continues to Provide Essential Services

Yesterday, Governor Whitmer signed the “Stay Home, Stay Safe” Executive Order in Michigan, going into effect at midnight on March 24th. Similar executive orders are in place in both Washington and Puerto Rico, where we also have production facilities. We want our customers to know that per the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Aspen is considered an essential business given the nature of the vital surgical supplies we manufacture. We are continuing to take orders for, produce, and distribute our products so that our customers can perform vital surgeries as needed.

We are also continuing to take precautions to help protect the health of our workers within our facilities, including personal hygiene, hand washing, and disinfection practices, as directed by the CDC, WHO, and local officials. As an additional measure to help limit the potential exposure of our production and distribution workers to COVID-19, we have asked our office workers that are able to work from home to do so. Office employees are equipped with the proper tools from IT to do their jobs remotely and will be able to continue to meet our daily customer needs and requests in a timely manner.

We are facing a truly unprecedented situation as the global COVID-19 pandemic affects our families, homes, communities, and businesses. During this time, Aspen Surgical is committed to ensuring compliance with local and federal guidelines to help keep our employees safe, while also meeting the needs of our customers. We will continue to post updates to our homepage—www.aspensurgical.com. If at any time you have additional questions regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, please feel free to contact me, your sales representative, or your customer service agent. We appreciate our customers’ partnership as we navigate these times together, and we look forward to emerging stronger!

Sincerely,
Mary Hannon
